Lavit Gallery is available for hire as a venue for a variety of events such as civil ceremonies, book launches, seminars, corporate networking events or presentations.
Email or phone us with the details, duration and timing of proposed event. We will give you a provisional quote based on all the information available. A site visit is then recommended so that there is full transparency regarding the facilities. A minimum 30% deposit is required to secure the booking. Full payment is required in advance of the event.
About the Venue
The main gallery space measures 22-25m long by 4.8-7.1 m wide in plan with a ceiling height of 2.445m. There is also access to an adjacent courtyard with limited parking available for evening events with prior agreement and notice. There are limited kitchen facilities at the rear of the gallery and full toilet facilities.
The gallery is accessible to wheelchairs using a ramp that can be installed upon request at the time of entry. Once in the venue there is access to a wheelchair accessible toilet.
The gallery is equipped with 2 x small white Ikea tables, 2 x white Ikea trestle tables and 9 black padded fold-out chairs. If this is insufficient for you needs all other furniture must be sourced by the customer. Lavit Gallery can provide €100 wine glasses and
Lavit Gallery operates as an exhibition space all year round so any party booking the venue should expect there to be art on the walls and/or on plinths throughout the space. Floor-based work and/or plinths can be moved in advance of an event within reason but depending on the level of disruption an extra charge may apply. All gallery facilities and artworks must be treated with the upmost care.
All events will be preceded by a welcome by the gallery staff member on duty. This will include an introduction to the organisation, the venue and its facilities.
Pricing varies on the scale and complexity of the event, its duration, the timing in relation to normal staff hours and the disruption to the normal operations of the gallery. Below is a basic guide to pricing that is subject to change once the full details of the event have been discussed and agreed. Please note that the event durations listed below include any set-up during which the normal operations of the gallery are disrupted.
During gallery hours, 10am-6pm Tuesday-Saturday
Outside gallery hours, 7.30-10.30am, 6-10pm Tuesday-Saturday
