The Lavit Gallery hosted Lúnasa, an exhibition of Irish craft and design as part Cork Craft Month during August, 2021. Taking its name from the ancient Irish festival that traditionally marked the beginning of the harvest season, this multidisciplinary exhibition brought together a selected group of craftspeople working in both traditional and contemporary craft idioms. The exhibition followed a successful collaboration between the curator, Stephen O’Connell, and the gallery in 2019, presenting collectable Irish craft and design as part of the broader programme for Cork Craft Month.

This exhibition is supported by Design and Crafts Council Ireland
