Eadaoin Harding Kemp

 

Eadaoin Harding Kemp was born in Dublin in 1956. She moved to Cork City in 1962 and studied at the Crawford School of Art where she was awarded an NDAD in painting, drawing and etching. She was the Cork Arts Society Student of the Year winner in 1977. Her work has featured many times at the Lavit Gallery since then.

In addition to the Lavit, Éadaoin’s work has been shown at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin; the Kent Gallery, Kinsale; the Private Collector’s Gallery, Innishannon; the Strand Gallery, Clonakilty; the Vanguard, Cork; Trinity College and the Solomon Gallery, Dublin; the Bridge Gallery, Dublin and the Gate Gallery in Skibbereen and Kenmare.

Her work is in many private and public collections including the AIB Collection, the OPW, Limerick Regional Hospital, the private residence of the Korean Ambassador to Ireland and throughout England, France, Germany, Sweden, the USA, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, North Africa and Japan.
